Requirements for Backend Development Instructor
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in backend development, with a proven track record of successful projects.
- Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (e.g., Python, PHP, Node.js) and associated frameworks.
- Strong understanding of database management systems, RESTful APIs, and other backend technologies.
- Prior teaching or mentoring experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.
- Enthusiasm for learning and teaching, with a genuine desire to help others succeed in their career goals.
Requirements for Front-End Development Instructor
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Web Development, or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred).
- Proven professional experience as a Front End Developer.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Prior teaching or training experience is a plus.
- Passion for learning and a desire to help others succeed in the tech industry.
- Patience and empathy for students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Knowledge of configuration management as well as practical client-side building
- Excellent knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Mercuria SVN, and Git
- Ability to use essential graphical tools, such as Photoshop and GIMP, to make changes to visuals
- Excellent knowledge of cross-browser compatibility
- Good understanding of partial page updates, AJAX, and asynchronous request handling
- Knowledge of SEO principles leading to application adherence
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and with members of a dedicated team
Requirements for Cyber Security Instructor
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on offensive or defensive security techniques.
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies, such as:
- Intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS)
- Security information and event management (SIEM) platforms
- Vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools (e.g., Metasploit, Nmap)
- Encryption protocols and algorithms
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or GIAC are highly desirable.
- Prior teaching or training experience, either in a classroom or corporate setting, is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and understandably.
- Enthusiasm for learning and teaching, with a genuine desire to mentor and empower students to succeed in their cybersecurity careers.
