Requirements for Graduate Intern (Research and/or Data Management)
- A B.Sc Degree or HND in Statistics, Social Sciences (i.e. Sociology, Demography, Psychology, etc.), Public Health, Public Policy, International Development, or related fields.
- A Master’s Degree in any of the above fields is desirable (an advantage). Master’s Degree students currently finalizing their dissertations are also eligible to apply.
- Familiarity or prior experience in business development or proposal management, ideally in the corporate sector/INGOS is an advantage.
- Experience in conducting/participating in research, data analysis, data visualizations, monitoring, and evaluation of programs is desirable but not compulsory.
- Attention to detail, with a quality-focused mindset.
- Cultural sensitivity and demonstrated ability to work successfully with diverse constituencies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and enlist support, when needed.
- Capacity to use Microsoft Office suites required.
- Strong quantitative skills and familiarity with data programming, data visualization, and statistical software such as Stata, SPSS, R, Tableau, NVIVO, ATLAS Ti, Power BI ODK, or SurveyCTO (preferred)
- Familiarity with the qualitative research process is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with large secondary data such as MICS, DHS, NARHS, or sources, an added advantage
- Applicants must have completed NYSC.
- Applicants must be residents of Abuja or have a place to stay in Abuja upon internship offer.
Requirements for Research and Data (NYSC) Intern
- A BSc or HND Degree in Statistics, Social Sciences (i.e. Sociology, Demography, Psychology, etc.), Public Health, Public Policy, International Development, or related fields.
- Experience in conducting/participating in research, data analysis, data visualizations, monitoring, and evaluation of programs is desirable but not compulsory.
- Attention to detail, with a quality-focused mindset.

Requirements for Research Project Development Officer / Associate
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Public Health, Social Sciences (i.e. Sociology, Demography, Psychology, etc.), or other development-related studies, from a reputable national/international university. A Master’s degree in any of the above fields is desirable.
- 2 – 4 years’ relevant professional experience for M.Sc degree holders. 1 – 2 years’ relevant professional experience for BSc degree holders.
- Prior experience in business development or proposal management, ideally in the corporate sector/INGOS is an advantage.
- A proven track record in coordinating and managing successful bid/proposal processes is desirable.
- A strong background in quantitative and/or qualitative research will serve as an advantage.
- Prior experience managing complex quantitative and /or qualitative data collections, a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with contemporary statistical and qualitative data analysis software preferred (i.e. Stata, R, SPSS, Python, NVIVO, ATLAS Ti, PowerBI, MS Excel, etc.)
- Familiarity with the UN, WB, USAID, and Govt. & International development agencies project development rules.
- Residents of Abuja.
