Requirements for Tongston Media Graduate Officer

• A Degree in English, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Management or a related field of study.
• A post-graduate or professional qualification in Journalism, Communication, Marketing or Public Relations would be useful, especially in lieu of a relevant tertiary degree.
• Proficiency in key applications (MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Corel Draw, Adobe Systems; Skydrive, DropBox, Google Docs, and any other required applications) is required.
• Up to 1-2 years) work experience as a Marketing, Journalism, Communications and Branding Specialist or similar role, with an understanding of the business and education field
• Familiarity with B2B and B2C advertising campaigns
• Hands-on experience with web content management tools, like WordPress.
• Experience in managing social media communities for brands is required.
• Experience executing email and social media outreach to targeted audience segments is required.
• Establishing relationships with traditional media houses (TV, Newspaper and Radio) locally and internally is required.
• Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics.
• Knowledge and ability to handle email marketing campaigns is required such as Real Magnet/Mail Chimp.
• Ability to procure and engage vendors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong research skills, with a clear capacity to develop research material using publicly available information, and by leveraging various networks and internal resources available.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and allocate resources/effort appropriately.
• Proactive team player.
• Well-developed communication and business writing skills, including an ability to interface directly and effectively with senior officers internally and externally.
• Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment.

Requirements for IT Graduate Officer

• At least 12-18 months’ appropriate experience supporting IT infrastructure, business, technology and service delivery, preferably within a small/medium size organization.
• Good understanding of server & desktop hardware/ operating systems, networks, firewalls etc.
• Experience with SQL, Tableau, SAS, and/or Python.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server.
• Good knowledge of Networking technologies and concepts.
• Familiarity with enterprise-class business applications e.g. SharePoint, customer relationship, content and document management systems.
• Good understanding of IT security and Data protection.
• Good understanding of Cloud and mobile technology solutions is a plus.
• Good understanding of cloud and mobile technology.
• A probing and analytical approach with the ability to pre-empt potential problems, identify inefficiencies and proffer solutions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritise and allocate resource/effort appropriately.

• Experience working with mobile solutions.

Requirements for Legal Policy Regulatory and Governance Graduate Officer

• LLB in Law or equivalent legal qualification from an accredited institution of learning.
• At least 2 years experience in a law firm focused on commercial/corporate law.
• License to Practice in Nigeria and any other common law jurisdictions will be an added advantage with a strong preference for qualification to practice as a Solicitor in England & Wales.
• Relevant legal qualifications, either solicitor, barrister or CILEX.
• Strong legal experience in corporate and commercial matters.
• Good negotiation skills.
• Excellent contractual drafting skills.
• Experience in handling corporate secretarial matters.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and takes initiative.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Possess Entrepreneurial attitude, skills, and knowledge.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools – PowerPoint word and Excel.
• Ability to work independently and to manage multiple projects.
• High integrity, ethics, and work standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
