Requirements for Policy Writer, Measurement and Evaluation (M&E)
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science, Humanities, Literature, Writing, Editing, Copyediting, Journalism, Science Communications, or a similar field. A graduate degree in either an education or writing-related field is desirable.
- At least 1-2 years of work experience where writing entailed a significant portion of the job responsibilities. Writing experience for an education or development org is a plus.
- Familiarity with quantitative research. At a minimum, the candidate should have a frank openness to learn and develop some expertise in this area, but the ideal candidate will be comfortable interpreting and describing research methods and results.
- Outstanding skills in persuasive writing and the ability to present technical ideas concisely for a non-technical audience
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Willingness to work with teams whose members are based in different locations around the world, which might require occasional flexibility in scheduling meetings to accommodate different time zones and deadlines
- Proven ability to learn quickly and understand complex topics
- Familiarity with issues related to the education sector is a plus
- Proven ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Proven ability to prioritize and organize own workload effectively and efficiently and meet deadlines
- A robust, confident, can-do attitude.
Requirements for Data Analyst, Measurement and Evaluation (M&E)
- High data literacy and a strong background in econometrics and/or statistics.
- Previous experience in an academic or applied setting, such as being an analyst, research assistant, data manager, or consultant. Experience in data cleaning, analysis, and/or visualization.
- A high level of proficiency with Stata or R, and Excel. Any other data analysis software or coding language is a plus. Experience with survey software like Qualtrics, SurveyCTO, or Google Forms is also a plus.
- Undergraduate degree (or its equivalent) or Masters degree – in a relevant academic discipline, for example (but not limited to) Economics, Public or Education Policy, or Statistics.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex ideas for non-technical audiences – you will need effective verbal and written communication skills to provide valuable insights and research reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Belief in data-driven decision-making.
- Flexible and loves to work in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to work with teams whose members are based in different locations around the world, which might require occasional flexibility in scheduling meetings to accommodate different time zones and deadlines.
- Proven ability to learn quickly and understand complex topics

Requirements for Project Manager, Academics
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong project management skills and excellent organizational skills
- Experience with Google Apps, and AI software is a plus
- Excellent communication skills (writing and speaking) and the ability to multitask
- Proven track record of effectively interacting with senior management
- Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders across multiple projects simultaneously
- 5+ years of experience working in project management, education industry preferred.
