Requirements for Pipeline Construction Utility Supervisor
- Applicant should possess B.Sc (Hons) Minimum in Engineering / Construction Management.
- Over 15 years of construction experience of which 5 out of the 15 must be pipeline supervision projects.
- Applicant must have a minimum of 5 years experience as a Pipeline Construction Utility Supervisor.
- Experience supporting Utility operations in a Pipeline construction environment.
- Thorough knowledge of construction and inspection techniques, procedures, regulations, methods, and tests related to water pipeline installation.
- Applicant must have knowledge of occupational hazards, safety precautions, and safety regulations.
- Applicant must have knowledge of leadership techniques, principles, and procedures to assign work, schedule, supervise, train, and evaluate the work of assigned staff.
- Extensive Pipeline Construction has proven successful experience in an equivalent position on large-diameter pipeline construction.
- Applicant must have the ability to deliver information in a clear and respectable manner to fellow team members and the EPC Contractors.
- Must work well in large teams with staff members of all backgrounds and skill levels.
- Experience directing the efforts on more than one project at a time and having multiple responsibilities across assignments is preferred.
- Applicant must have the strong analytical problem-solving capability.
- Applicant must have the ability to utilize Microsoft Office 2013 (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Working knowledge of major international construction standards ASME, ANSI, BS, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to provide and/or develop final work products while providing quality control over project work.
- Applicant must be available to work shifts and over weekends.
- Trained in confined space and OSHA construction safety.
- Applicant must have knowledge and experience using computer software.
- Applicant must have the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
- Applicant must have the ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and reports in mathematical or diagram form and deal with multiple variables.
- Applicant must have strong analytic capabilities and the ability to work independently.
- Applicant must have good oral and written communication skills.
- Applicants must have an eye for detail and the ability to prepare clear and accurate reports.
- Applicant must have the ability to communicate logically and clearly with management and staff of the EPC Contractors.
- Applicant must have the ability to handle the physical aspects of required fieldwork.
- Commitment to safe work practices.
- Applicant must have proficient knowledge of fall protection and work zone safety.
- Applicant must have the ability to work in a multicultural team environment as well as under minimum supervision.
Requirements for Pipeline Engineer
- Minimum qualification B.Sc. in an Engineering Discipline. A Master’s Degree in an Engineering Discipline or an MBA would be a considerable advantage
- Applicant must have a minimum of 5 years cognate experience in Pipeline Design Engineering in the relevant sector.
- Applicant must have excellent written and spoken English is mandatory.

- Applicant must have good knowledge of Caesar II and/ or AutoPipe for Piping Stress Analysis (or equivalent)
- Applicant must have good knowledge of Microsoft Office Package
- Applicant must be familiar with relevant industry codes and standards, design specifications, and practices.
- Ensure ease of constructability is considered in all Pipeline technical solutions/deliverables.
- Able to perform Concept, FEED, Detailed Design, and Fabrication Design.
- Applicant must have the ability to use relevant software for Pipeline engineering. Basic level of understanding of design calculations and result interpretation.
- Commissioning and start-up assistance are advantages.
- COREN Certification is an advantage.
- Experience in both onshore and offshore design is an advantage.
- Construction and site supervision experience is an advantage.
Requirements for Process Engineer
- Applicants should possess a B.Sc Degree in Engineering with 5 – 10 years of experience.
- Applicant must be familiar with relevant industry codes and standards, design specifications, and practices.
- Ensure ease of constructability is considered in all Process technical solutions/deliverables.
- Applicant must be able to perform Concept, FEED, Detailed Design, and Fabrication Design.
- Applicant must have the ability to use relevant software for Process engineering.
- Basic level of understanding of design calculations and result interpretation.
- Commissioning and start-up assistance are advantages.
- COREN Certification is an advantage.
- Experience in both onshore and offshore design is an advantage.
- Construction and site supervision experience is an advantage.
