Requirements for Technical Advisor at Excellence Community Education Welfare Scheme Recruitment

  • Degree in Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field; Solid working knowledge (practical skills) in OVC care and support will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of five years experience in health program management in sub-Saharan Africa/ international health issues including HIV, with at least two years experience working on HIV/AIDS counseling and testing programs in international or resource-poor settings at the supervisory level.
  • Experience in coordinating HIV/AIDS program implementation. Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving skills.

Requirements for Cleaner

  • Have an experience in cleaning. Previous cleaning experience in either a Laboratory, clinic or hospital will be an added advantage.
  • The candidate should be flexible and ready to learn.
  • The candidate must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions when undertaking routine cleaning duties.
  • Work flexibly and prioritize tasks as required
  • Have self-organization skills.
  • Able to contribute effectively as part of a team to support others in ensuring the satisfactory completion of tasks.

Requirements for Monitoring & Evaluation Officer

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, social science, Arts, or humanities
  • Experience in the M&E field
  • At least 4 years post-NYSC experience in developing country health care programs or program support functions 4 years of which must be within an international NGO or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4 years experience working on international health issues including HIV, with at least two years working on HIV/AIDS Prevention, Care, and Treatment programs in resource-poor settings.
  • Extensive experience working with KPs
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of public health information, education, and communications methodology in an African development context.
  • Experience supervising and/or training others preferred
  • Demonstrated ability in maintaining close counterpart relationships, both governmental and in partner sites and communities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-culturally with diverse teams
  • The high degree of judgment, maturity, ingenuity, and originality to interpret strategy, analyze, develop and present work, and monitor and evaluate the implementation of programs.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English Proficiency with other local languages.

Requirements for Front Desk Officer/Admin

  • A degree in Nursing/Midwifery or Bachelor’s degree in science, economics or a related field and an Experience in HIV/AIDS Key Population program is an added advantage
  • Excellent command of English and preferably experience in drafting documents such as proposals, reports, project plans, and memos (additional language skills are an asset)
  • Demonstrable project management and organizational skills appropriate for a highly multi-tasked environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and through telephone and e-mail
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with standard Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Previous responsibility managing project budgets will be an asset

Requirements for Adherence Counsellor

  • Degree in Social Sciences, Health Education, Public Health, or a relevant field;
  • At least one year of supervisory experience and two years of post-graduate experience working in medical case management or as a medical social worker.
  • Familiarity with health systems and HIV community programs including Key Population
  • Experience working with HIV/AIDS and ante-retroviral treatments is required.
  • Knowledgeable on HIV information and able to communicate expertise to HIV-positive patients;
  • Willingness to participate in HIV-related training and meetings
  • Ability to organize and coordinate diverse activities
  • Experience in coordinating HIV/AIDS program implementation;
  • Strong supervisory and management skills;

Requirements for Data Entry Clerk

  • Minimum of HND (Medical Records) or Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 1 year’ of experience in Local or International NGOs; preferably in Care and treatment Experience with use, deployment, and DHIS management will be an added advantage
  • Skills using MS Excel, MS Access, SPSS, and/or SAS and Epi-Info are highly desirable but not necessary as training will be provided

  • Experience in HIV/AIDS monitoring.

Requirements for ART Nurse

  • Experience in providing Key Population services and or comprehensive Reproductive Health services (2years + preferable)

Requirements for OSS Doctor

  • Advanced Medical Degree (MD preferred)
  • Robust clinical experience in HIV/AIDS care and antiretroviral treatment (3 years + preferable)
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft applications and other software
  • Excellent grasp of clinical issues and current literature in HIV/AIDS treatment
  • Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving skills including the ability to foresee problems and initiate appropriate action.
  • At least 3 years of clinical experience in the management of infectious disease, and management of clinical services;

Requirements for Finance & Administrative Manager

  • Must possess a first degree or its equivalent in Accounting or Finance.
  • Must possess a Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Admin, or Finance with a professional certification of ICAN or ACCA.
  • Must possess a minimum of ten (10) years post-NYSC working experience with at least seven (7) years of experience in a bi-lateral or multi-lateral agency-financed project in Nigeria (or an African nation).
  • Knowledge and expertise in the field of project preparation, commercial negotiations, financial management, internal controls/systems development, accounting, auditing, and reporting.
  • Must be proficient in all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent financial standards, rules, and regulations relating to good financial management.
  • The ability to solve problems, and exercise good judgment will be an asset.
  • Must be of good character with proven impeccable integrity.
  • Articulate, professional, and able to communicate in a clear, positive manner with clients and staff.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English
