Requirements for Outreach Nurse Supervisor
- Essential: Nursing Degree
- Registered Nurse
- Essential 3 years experience in Nurse practice and nurse management in a facility
- Experience in community activities (CMAM)
- Previous experience with ALIMA or other NGO’s in developing countries is desirable
- Advanced knowledge in Nursing management
- Essential computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet)
- Training skills
- Well-organized with good negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team, a part of a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team, in an emergency and under pressure, to manage stress easily and be result-oriented
- Ability to work in close collaboration with MOH staff
- Can work and create teamwork, flexible, and committed to the assigned position
- Interest in and commitment to ALIMA’s activities, enthusiasm to represent the organization to others, to travel to different regions of Nigeria
- Languages: English is compulsory, others are an asset like Hausa, Kanuri, etc.
Requirements for Head of Health Promotion
- Postgraduate qualification in Health Promotion / IEC Specialization / Social Sciences / Community Health is desirable.
- 2 years experience in a similar position
- Essential working experience in Nutrition, Malaria, Vaccination (EPI), Maternal & Child Health, Health Promotion or Community Health-related work
- Excellent command of verbal and written English is essential. The notion of the local language is an asset.
- Computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Flexibility
- Teamwork
- Stress Management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good judgment, and a high level of respect for confidentiality.
Requirements for Grants Manager
- You have a medical diploma in Health, Master’s degree in public health or epidemiology related to the position (development studies, public health, international relations, project management, etc.).
- You have Professional experience in reporting, design, and/or project management of at least one year, as well as field experience and a Good command of project management tools (project cycle, logical framework, project proposal, reporting, etc.).
- You have Autonomy, capacity for initiative, ability to work in a team and to communicate
