Requirements for NPO-Malaria / CD / Epidemiologist

  • Essential: University Degree in Health Sciences, including Medicine, Pharmacy, Microbiology, Entomology, Epidemiology, or Public Health.
  • Desirable: Master’s degree in Public Health or Epidemiology. A degree in Tropical Diseases, Malariology, Neglected Tropical Diseases or epidemiology is an added advantage
  • Essential: At least five (5) years experience in planning, implementing, and monitoring-evaluation of disease prevention and control activities
  • Desirable: Experience in the field of malaria and other tropical and VBD control. Relevant working experience with the WHO/UN or other INGO experience would be an asset.

Requirements for Programme Assistant

  • Essential: Completion of Secondary School followed by Administrative training.
  • Essential: 6 years of experience in a recognized public or private institution
  • Desirable: Experience in administrative support positions within WHO or another UN agency is an asset. Experience in Oracle-based systems or another ERP-like system is an asset.

Requirements for Management and Administration (MGA) Officer

  • Essential: Advanced university Degree (Master’s level or above) in Public or Business Administration, Finance or Accounting, Human Resources Management, or other Social Studies from an accredited/recognized institute.
  • At least seven years of relevant experience, combined at the national and international levels in management and administration, including supervision of staff. Experience in supporting emergency or health outbreak operations.
  • Experience in developing countries. Prior humanitarian working experience at the field level, with WHO, other UN agencies, health cluster partners, recognized humanitarian organizations, or with an international non-governmental organization.
