Welcome2Africa International (W2A) was founded on the vision to redefine the image of Africa. As such, we look to facilitate investments and trade whilst also bridging the information gap for the various opportunities that exist in Africa. We are currently focused on Nigeria’s Agricultural sector.

Over the last 5 years, we have hosted several Agricultural Investment Conferences in strategic cities around the world including; Luxembourg, Accra, Lagos, Abuja, Frankfurt, Belgium, The Netherlands, and London. These opportunities have provided us with brand recognition, a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with investing in Africa’s Agricultural sector, as well as a rich network inclusive of Africa’s Agribusiness stakeholders, investment and finance executives, leading fund managers, private equity firms, family offices, institutional investors donors as well as large agribusiness related firms from around the world.

Requirements for Director of Marketing and Sales

• Candidates should possess an MBA qualification with 5 – 15 years work experience.
• Proficiency in visionary storytelling, content creation, and content marketing, events and conferences demand generation, and multi-channel programs
• Expertise in marketing technology and sales enablement
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams
• Proven success working closely with the sales team, including disciplined follow-ups, joint planning and execution, and earning trust as a strategic business partner
• Record of publications in recognized peer-reviewed journals
• Outstanding presentation and communication skills.
• Startup mentality and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Knowledge of marketing and sales technologies e.g. Zoho CRM.

Requirements for Program Manager

• Minimum of 3 years in organizing international and local events and conferences
• Relevant experience in undertaking marketing and corporate communications work.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong project management skills with experience in working with internal teams to ensure the success of an event
• Ability to use an international network of contacts for commercial purposes
• Demonstrable expertise in budgeting and managing projects to tight deadlines
• Strong work ethic and attention to quality and detail
• Ability to solve problems and successfully engage with appropriate technical and internal resources
• Ability to juggle multiple programs through highly effective organizational skills
• Ability to make sound decisions quickly and efficiently.

Requirements for Conference and Event Manager

• Candidates should possess relevant qualifications and work experience.
• Proven experience in planning and executing international and local conferences and investment tours.
• Demonstrated success in team management and leadership roles.
• Familiarity with the Agricultural Sector and the dynamics of trade and investment in Nigeria and across Africa.
• Familiarity with event management software, relevant Project management, and CRM tools.
• Familiarity with the intricacies of investment missions and trade events
• Proven Ability to network and manage stakeholders.
