Requirements for Business Support Assistant G5 (ICT)
- A minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience is required in the following:
- First University Degree in Admin-related subjects (Business Administration / Politics / Safety and Security / Rule of Law / Finance, etc.) with qualifying relevant experience and/or training/courses is accepted in lieu of the First University degree.
- Fluency (level C) in English language with excellent writings skill. Knowledge of Hausa local language is desirable.
Requirements for Logistics Assistant SC5
- Educational Qualification: Completion of a post-secondary certificate in the related functional area is desirable.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in related field
- General Service (Field): Fluency in both oral and written communication in the UN language in use at the duty station and in the duty station’s language, if different.
- Language: General Service (Headquarters): Fluency (level C) in English language. Fluency (level C) or intermediate knowledge (level B) of another official language may be required depending on the location of the post or area of responsibility.
- Supporting Administrative and operational activities that maintain security operations functions and feed into overall strategic aims.
- Collating data, assisting in organizing Training, Conferences, and workshops, and drafting reports that inform security Administrative and operations activities. Must be computer literate.
- Development and humanitarian contexts.
- Working with word processing, spreadsheets, and relevant software packages, as well as in providing administrative support is desirable.
Requirements for Logistics Assistant G5
- Completion of a post-secondary certificate in the related functional area is desirable.
- General Service (Headquarters): Fluency (level C) in English language. Fluency (level C) or intermediate knowledge (level B) of another official language may be required depending on the location of the post or area of responsibility.
- 5 or more relevant years of experience in logistics operations and activities.
- Fluency in both oral and written communication in the UN language in use at the duty station and in the duty station’s language, if different.
