Requirements for Social & Behavior Change Specialist

  • Applicants Must Have A minimum of five years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas is required:  social development program planning, Social & Behavior Change, public advocacy,, or another related area.
  • Applicants Must Have Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organization is considered an asset.
  • Applicants Must Have Experience working in a developing country is considered an asset.
  • Applicants Must Have Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian,, or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.

Requirements for Social & Behavior Change Officer

  • Applicants Must Have A University Degree in one of the following fields is required: Social and Behavioral Science, Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, Education, Communication, Public Relations,, or another relevant technical field.
  • Applicants Must Have A minimum of two years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas is required:  social development program planning, communication for development, public advocacy,, or another related area.
  • Applicants Must Have Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organization is considered an asset.
  • Applicants Must Have Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian,, or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.

  • Applicants Must Have A University Degree in one of the following fields is required: Public Administration, Public Health / Nutrition, Global / International Health, Health Policy and/or Management, Environmental Health Sciences, Biostatistics, Socio-Medical, Health Education, Epidemiology, or another relevant technical field.
  • Applicants Must Have A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas is required: public administration, public health/nutrition planning and management, Health education, financial planning, and management.
  • Applicants Must Have Experience working in a developing country is considered an asset.
  • Applicants Must Have Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organization is considered as an asset.
  • Applicants Must Have Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish) or a local language is an asset
