Requirements for Senior Financial Analyst
- Education: Master’s Degree in Finance, with 3 years of relevant work experience or Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years’ experience in proven track record work of sourcing, structuring and closing investments in a financial institution, Development Finance Institutions or impact fund.
- Relevant experience in the agriculture or agribusiness sector.
- Strong financial and credit skills as well as sound business judgment in identifying and assessing financial performances
- Strong client relationship skills, track record and ability to focus on client’s need effectively.
- Relevant experience in assessing financial performance of processing companies.
- Knowledge of agriculture value chain financing solutions.
- Fluency in English.
- Willingness to travel frequently (40/50%).
- Interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with partners and counterparts from various cultural backgrounds
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong oral/written communication and presentation skills
- MS Office and presentation skills are required.
Requirements for Business Advisor 1- SAY WEE Project
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business Management, Marketing, Business Enterprise, or relevant Social Sciences / Humanities related discipline with a minimum of 2 years experience working with rural communities and supporting micro, small growing businesses in Nigeria.
- Alternatively, 4 years experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of the micro, small and growing business environment in Nigeria.
- Ability to engage and advise a broad range of stakeholders, including senior management of private sector companies, community leaders, and others;
- Demonstrated experience in data collection and analyses.
- Demonstrated experience with digital training and delivery mechanisms.
- Demonstrated experience in report writing.
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English with Proficiency in hausa or Yoruba
- Long-distance travel is not anticipated.
- Experienced in writing excellent reports.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills.
- Proven skills with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Knowledge in the use of Comcare, KoBoCollect will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
Requirements for MEL Specialist – Horticurity Project
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Agribusiness, Project Management, Social Sciences or related discipline with 3 years’ experience (alternatively Master’s Degree + 1 years’ experience) in monitoring and evaluation and also donor funded programming.
- Demonstrable critical skills in data collection, analysis and reporting, and performance monitoring of donor funded projects.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of the enterprise development landscape in Nigeria Minimum years of experience.
- Experience utilizing M&E methods and methodologies (including qualitative, quantitative, and participatory methods as well as the use of causal logic in designing, planning, implementing, and evaluating projects) Technical skills required to do this job.
- Ability to work in a multicultural context as a flexible and respectful team player.
- Proficiency in working with Comcare is an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel.
- Experience working in Nigeria
- Experience working with an INGO
- Experience working on an entrepreneurship donor funded projects
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Travel Willingness to travel to field locations
- Strong interpersonal skill
- Expertise in data management, analysis, and interpretation, skilled at data visualization.
