Requirements for Supply Chain Assistant
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc) or Higher National Diploma (HND), a Postgraduate qualification in related fields is desirable but not mandatory.
- Membership of professional supply chain organization is desirable.
- Level of Education – Degree.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skill Level – Excellent.
- Language Requirements – English – Excellent.
- Level of IT Expertise Required – Good.
Requirements for Roving Health and Nutrition Coordinator
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Nursing, Medicine, or related field. MPH would be added advantage.
- Recommended a minimum of 3 years management experience in a humanitarian and development environment, including significant field operations experience running emergency programs.
- Experience of emergency program cycle management and well known the intervention area.
- Significant knowledge of humanitarian and development systems, institutions and donors and best practices in emergency management
- Substantial experience and knowledge of effective budget monitoring
- Ability to analyze information, evaluate options and to think and plan strategically.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English and at least one major Nigerian Language
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently, live and work in difficult physical conditions in an area of potential insecurity.
- Commitment to and understanding of Save the Children’s Vision, Mission, Values and Practices
- Demonstrable experience in M&E
- Experience in emergency response to cholera, meningitis, diphtheria, and other childhood illnesses
- Good presentation and facilitation skills
- Proven conceptual skills and an ability to think and plan strategically.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to train and mentor staff.
- Proven ability to manage a complex and demanding workload.
- Excellent spoken and written English and local language
- Good computer skills (particularly Excel, Word, and databases)
- Experience in nutrition project data management and CMAM programing
- Having an operational experience will be a plus advantage.
Requirements for WASH Officer
- First Degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, Geography or other WASH-related fields from a recognized/accredited Tertiary Institution in Nigeria
- At least two years post-graduation experience
- Advanced Degree will be an added advantage
- Previous experience with other local and international NGOs
- Experience in WASH in School and in community based programmes
- Training and experience on borehole and VIP latrine construction/rehabilitation
- Community mobilization and advocacy experience
- Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
- Fluency in English and Hausa, spoken and written
- Ability to work in partnership with government and other NGO staff
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work within a team setting
- Independence, adaptability and flexibility with good workload management, multitasking and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
