Requirements for Lead Consultant: SMC Impact Assessment

• Minimum of Master’s Degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, or related fields and at least 7 years post-graduation experience.
• Previous experience in assessments, and surveys, especially within the Public Health sector. Knowledge of malaria and its prevention, diagnosis, and treatment is required.
• Excellent training and supervisory skills.
• Excellent technical writing and presentation skills.
• A proven ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Excellent capacity for data analysis, especially quantitative data analysis and interpretation.
• Demonstrated report-writing skills for quantitative studies and surveys.
• Ability to work under stressful conditions and to remain flexible and calm under pressure.
• Experience in proactively identifying and addressing bottlenecks/issues desired.

Requirements for Supervisor: SMC Impact Assessment

• Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Demography, Statistics, Public Health, or other related disciplines with at least 3 years post-qualification experience.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in public health research and surveys.
• Good facilitation skills.
• Excellent report writing skills.
• Availability for the period of the fieldwork for the SMC impact assessment.

Requirements for Data Collector: SMC Impact Assessment

• A minimum Degree (B.Sc / HND) in Social Sciences and a health-related discipline
• Experience in conducting data collection for surveys and research.
• Experience in the use of modern technology in research – previous experience in electronic data collection using platforms such as SurveyCTO, ODK, or Kobo Collect.
• Familiarity with the study contexts.
• Good attention to detail.
