Requirements for Technical Assistant, EYEPINN
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Development Studies, Organisational Development, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline is required;
- Good communication skills in English- written and spoken.
- Preferably at least 5 years of general experience in institutional strengthening and capacity development or strategic management or project and program management in sectors related to education, skills development, and training;
- At least 5 years of working experience in education and capacity development, preferably in a technical advisory capacity;
- At least 3 years’ experience in one or more of the following areas: strengthening of teacher training systems curriculum development governance reform VET reform or non-formal education addressing out-of-school children/acceleration programs or sector strategy development.
- Experience in the education sector and/or education reform projects and programs in one of the three target States: Jigawa, Sokoto, and Kano
- Experience of working in federal education systems is an added advantage;
- Knowledge of local languages in Northern Nigeria is an added advantage.
Requirements for Driver and Logistics Assistant
- GCE ordinary level, NECO, or any other evidence of successful completion of Secondary School Education with at least three (3) years of experience driving in a corporate environment (preferably in an NGO, an Embassy, or other international agency).
- A valid driver’s license, Class B.
- Skills techniques training by reputable service, e.g., David Bertie, is an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with advanced written and spoken English.
- Courteous, professional, and welcoming; proactive with a “can do” attitude.
- Highly organized with strong planning, coordinating, and time management skills.
- Attention to detail in completing tasks is required.
- Calmness and good instinct.
- Excellent knowledge of the geography and road network in the location where most commonly driving.
- Good communication skills (written & oral) in English and local language(s), i.e., Hausa.
- Knowledge of First Aid will be a strong advantage.
- Willingness and ability to work long hours when necessary.
- Willingness and ability to travel at short notice.
- Self-motivated and works well independently requiring limited direct oversight.
- Possesses both the willingness and ability to train and be trained.
- Ambitious with a continuous personal and professional improvement focus.
- Results driven.
Requirements for Procurement Specialist
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, International Development, or other relevant fields is required. An advanced degree is preferred.
- At least seven (7) years of professional experience, with a minimum of three (3) years in purchasing and supply management experience. Previous experience working on US government-funded projects is highly preferred.
- Strong numeric skills and attention to detail and quality.
- Demonstrated logical and flexible problem-solver, especially when working under pressure.
- Previous supervisory experience is highly preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Possesses both a willingness and an ability to train and be trained.
