Abbey is one of the seven national Primary Mortgage Banks (PMB) licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN). The recent recapitalization exercise saw the downsize from 105 mortgage banks to only 34 now survive. We not only emerged successfully capitalized but one of the few that also met our National obligation as well as amongst the public liability companies.

Requirements for Private Banker (Relationship Manager)

Applicants Must Have B.Sc. in Finance, Accounting, or other related Social Sciences.
Applicants Must Have 5 – 7 years of Experience in the Banking Sector with at least 3 years in Private Banking.
Applicants Must Have Good knowledge of leading practices in financial operational services
Applicants Must Have Basic knowledge of book-keeping and accounting
Applicants Must Have Knowledge of Abbey’s products and services
Applicants Must Have Adequate knowledge of the financial services industry and the mortgage and retail/small business banking sub-sectors in particular
Applicants Must Have Good Knowledge of banking operations.

Requirements for Creative Specialist

Applicants Must Have an HND or higher in a relevant field (Design, Computer Science, Mass Communications).
1-2 years of experience working in a Design/Brands team
Proven graphic design experience Portfolio showing graphic design works Familiarity with design applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design and Corel Draw A keen eye for aesthetics and details Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Requirements for Brands and Communications Intern

The ideal candidate will assist the brand’s team with their day-to-day tasks including social media management, video production, inventory, event planning, and more.
As interns, they will receive the benefit of the creative process of building brand awareness for a corporate organization.
