Requirements for Senior Banking Officer – Commercial Banking
- Applicant should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with 7-10 years experience.
- Financial statement analysis background with proven credit skills including analysis, documentation, and structure
- Applicant should possess a strong knowledge of the Banking sector and procedures
- Credit Risk Management
- Applicant must have strong sales and negotiation skills
- Applicant must have solid oral and written communication skills
- Applicant must have strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Applicant must have PC skills including word processing and spreadsheets
- Maintains a high level of knowledge of bank operations, products and services, and regulatory and statutory requirements
- Applicant must have strong leadership abilities to provide guidance to subordinates
- Applicant must have the ability to operate standard office equipment

- Maintains detailed knowledge of legal and regulatory banking compliance in order to properly complete the duties of the position.
Requirements for Banking Officer (Mid Level) – Commercial Banking
- Applicant should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Banking and Finance or any relevant field in Finance
- Applicant must have 3-5 years in the banking sector is required
- A master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Exceptional financial literacy is required
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Applicant must have strong knowledge of Banking software and application
- Applicant must have excellent problem-solving skills
- Applicant must have sound knowledge of routine applications like Microsoft Office suite (Word Excel and PowerPoint)
- Applicant must have good time-management skills
- Applicant must be able to effectively function in a team of self-driven professionals
- Applicant must have proven ability to multitask and complete tasks within stipulated deadlines
- Working proficiency in English (Oral and Written)
Requirements for Assistant Banking Officer
- Applicant should possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a reputed university with at least a second-class lower (2:2) degree.
- Applicant must have 0-3 years of relevant experience.
- It is essential to have an in-depth understanding of the Banking sector.
- Applicant must have previous experience in a Microfinance, Commercial Bank, or financial institution of repute is required.
- Applicant must have the ability to interpret complicated statistical financial information and a high level of numeracy is needed.
- Applicant must have good leadership qualities with a proactive, results-oriented, and optimistic “can-do” attitude
- Applicant must have excellent managerial, business development, analytical, and research skills
- Applicant must have excellent presentation and communication skills, both in writing and orally
- Applicant must be well-versed in results-based management techniques
- Applicant must have outstanding computer abilities, including proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and practical
- knowledge of banking applications.
