Requirements for Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Specialists
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Agribusiness, Project Management, Social Sciences, or related discipline with 3 years experience (alternatively Master’s Degree + 1-year experience) in monitoring and evaluation and donor-funded programming.
- Demonstrable critical skills in data collection, analysis and reporting, and donor-funded project performance monitoring.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of the enterprise development landscape in Nigeria Minimum years of experience.
- Experience utilizing M&E methods and methodologies (including qualitative, quantitative, and participatory methods as well as the use of causal logic in designing, planning, implementing, and evaluating projects) Technical skills required to do this job.
- Ability to work in a multicultural context as a flexible and respectful team player.
- Proficiency in working with Comcare is an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel.
- Experience working in Nigeria.
- Experience working with an INGO.
- Experience working on entrepreneurship donor-funded projects.

Requirements for Senior MEL Specialist
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Data Science, Geography, or other Social Science, or relevant field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in program management or implementing multidisciplinary and results-based M&E systems OR a Master’s Degree with at least 3 years of similar experience.
- Experience utilizing M&E methods and methodologies (including qualitative, quantitative, and participatory methods as well as the use of causal logic in designing, planning, implementing, and evaluating projects).
- Knowledge of and capacity to learn data collection and analytical software (e.g. Commcare, Looker Studio, Excel, or others).
- Strong written and oral communication skills and experience producing clear and concise reports—capacity to translate research, methodologies, and data into accessible formats for colleagues with non-technical backgrounds.
- Expertise in data management, analysis, and interpretation, skilled at data visualization.
- Takes an inquisitive and creative approach to problem-solving.
- Management skills, such as project management, personnel management, work plan management, and/or financial management.
- Willingness and availability to undertake field visits.
Requirements for Senior Program Manager – PRAISE Project
- A Master’s Degree or equivalent in Business, International Development, Economics, or other relevant field with at least 7 years’ experience. Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience.
- At least eight years of relevant professional experience in international development.
- Experience leading and managing large teams with a high level of leadership, interpersonal, technical, and analytical experience, as Team Leader, Chief of Party, or other Program Director level role.
- Experience in the waste recycling sector is highly desirable.
- Experience leading US government-funded, or other bilateral-funded projects is highly desirable.
- Prior work experience or collaboration with private sector companies and businesses.
- Experience working in Nigeria, or the western Africa region, is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively and collaboratively with a broad range of public and private sector counterparts and other key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated understanding of the plastic waste sector -strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threat
- Experience in successfully implementing gender-integrated programs is a plus.
