Requirements for Senior Data Architect, Data Warehouse & MPP

• Applicants Must Have Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field or equivalent professional or military experience
• AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional and the AWS Data Analytics or Machine Learning Speciality Certification”
• Applicants Must Have 8+ years of experience in IT platform implementation in a technical role
• Applicants Must Have 8+ years of development and/or DBA experience in Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS)
• Applicants Must Have 5+ years of hands-on experience in implementation and performance tuning MPP databases (Teradata, Vertica, Netezza, Greenplum)
• Applicants Must Have Experience with the prioritization of projects that mitigate trade-offs
• Applicants Must Have Experience in analyzing Data Warehouses such as Teradata, Netezza, Oracle, etc. or Greenplum, etc.
• Applicants Must Have Experience designing database environments, analyzing production deployments, and making recommendations to optimize performance.

Requirements for Senior Data Architect, Data Lake

• Applicants Must Have Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Applicants Must Have 8+ years of experience in IT platform implementation in a technical and analytical role
• Applicants Must Have 5+ years’ experience in Data Lake/Hadoop platform implementation
• Applicants Must Have 3+ years of hands-on experience in implementation and performance tuning Hadoop/Spark implementations
• AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional and the AWS Data Analytics or Machine Learning Speciality Certification”
• Applicants Must Have Experience with Apache Hadoop and the Hadoop ecosystem
• Applicants Must Have Experience with one or more relevant tools (Sqoop, Flume, Kafka, Oozie, Hue, Zookeeper, HCatalog, Solr, Avro)
• Applicants Must Have Experience with one or more SQL-on-Hadoop technology (Hive, Impala, Spark SQL, Presto)
• Applicants Must Have Experience developing software code in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, etc)

Requirements for Senior Database Consultant

• Applicants Must Have 8+ years of DBA experience in Oracle, SQL Server, or other commercial/open-source database platforms.
• Applicants Must Have Experience working with high availability, disaster recovery, and server tuning strategies including parameters, resources, contention, etc.
• Applicants Must Have Experience in Shell/Perl/Python Scripting.
• Applicants Must Have Experience with C-Level/Director level customers in IT/Business to craft their Enterprise Architecture and IT Strategies.
• Relevant Application/Database re-platforming experience (Commercial to Open Source Engines)
• Applicants Must Have Knowledge of replication technologies such as Oracle GoldenGate, Amazon Database Migration Service, or similar.
• Applicants Must Have Experience with mission-critical databases across multiple database platforms.
• Applicants Must Have Experience in Data Modelling, ETL/ELT workflow management desired & ability to write, and tune SQL queries desired.
• Applicants Must Have Experience in writing procedural language artifacts: PL/SQL, T-SQL, PL/pgSQL, and stored procedures.
• Applicants Must Have Experience in AWS Platforms and Services.
• Applicants Must Have Experience with Custom/COTS Applications and their implementation/maintenance.
• Applicants Must Have Experience with TCP/IP Networking.
• Applicants Must Have the Understanding and ability to participate in all phases of the SDLC including requirements gathering, business analysis, configuration management, and quality control desired.
