Requirements for Farm Supervisor
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in farm management.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in the production of maize, soybean, and sorghum.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate manual laborers, with a tenacious work ethic.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of integrity.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A deep understanding of and passion for agriculture.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a variety of weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly.
- Commitment to sustainable and ethical farming practices.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory.
- The ability to speak Hausa will be considered an added advantage.
Requirements for Rice Crop Out-Grower Lead
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years experience in managing smallholder farmers.
- In-depth knowledge of rice cultivation techniques, crop management practices, and sustainable agriculture principles.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects across diverse geographical locations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with farmers, team members, and agricultural stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting to inform decision-making and improve agronomic practices.
- Candidates must be residents of Kebbi, Kano, Jigawa, Niger, or Kaduna
Requirements for Agriculture Investment Portfolio Lead
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Business, Finance, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees, will be considered an added advantage.
- Proven track record with several years of experience in investment management, preferably within the agricultural sector or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct thorough financial analysis, market research, and risk assessment.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- understanding of the agricultural sector’s trends, challenges, and opportunities, especially within the context of sustainable and innovative practices.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate insights into actionable investment strategies.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience in managing cross-functional projects and teams.
