Requirements for Mechanical Technician
- Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology (MIT), or similar.
- A minimum of two years experience as a mechanical technician in a related industry, FMCG will be preferred
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering designs, installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Proficiency in mechanical design and diagnostic testing software.
- Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Great organizational and time management abilities.
- Willingness to perform mechanical maintenance and repairs outside of business hours.
- Welding experience will be an added advantage.
Requirements for Maintenance Supervisor
- Inspect sites regularly to identify problems and necessary maintenance.
- Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work as per forecasted workloads.
- Employ, Supervise, and train workers.
- Coordinate daily/weekly maintenance activities.
- Maintain all inventory and equipment, and ensure proper storage.
- Comply with all Health and Safety Regulations and practices on site.
- Establish strategies to meet workload demands on time.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and promptly.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements for Tested Instrumentation and Control Technician
- Installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting control devices such as thermostats, timers, switches, pressure gauges, flowmeters, or other devices used to measure or regulate conditions in a facility or process being controlled
- Performing analyses to design industrial control systems that meet safety requirements and specifications, including selecting instrumentation and controls based on performance requirements
- Monitoring equipment performance and making adjustments as needed to maintain optimal performance levels
- Installing electrical wiring to control devices or equipment such as motors, pumps, fans, or lights
- Installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical control panels and other electrical equipment used in industrial settings
- Installing, maintaining, repairing, and replacing industrial equipment such as boilers, compressors, pumps, ovens, furnaces, and turbines
- Installing, maintaining, repairing, and replacing electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, relays, transistors, diodes, and transformers
- Testing and calibrating equipment to ensure that it is operating correctly
- Researching to develop new technologies or improve existing equipment.
