Osun State University (UMOSUN) was established by the Osun State University (Establishment) Law of 2006. The University commenced academic activities simultaneously on the permanent sites of its six campuses located in the six geo-political zones of Osun State on 22nd September. 2007. The campuses are located in Osogbo, (Main Campus), Ejigbo, Ifetedo, Ikire, Ipetu-Ijesa, and Okuku.
Osun State University has the vision of becoming the biggest and the best University in Nigeria in the near future and has the goal of developing into a world-class institution of learning, given its multi-campus nature and its rapid expansion in the short period of its existence.

Requirements for Registrar
- Candidate must possess a good Honours Degree not less than Second Class Lower division and at least fifteen (15) years post qualification administrative experience. Possession of Professional qualification(s) in an appropriate field(s) will be an added advantage,
- Candidate must have been at a level of Deputy Registrar in a University or Research Institute of comparable standing for a minimum of five (5) years as of the closing date of this advertisement;
- Candidate must possess a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline; especially in humanities, social sciences, law, or management Not be older than 60 years as of the date of this publication;
- Candidate must enjoy good physical and mental health.
Requirements for Bursar
- Candidate must possess a good Honours Degree not less than Second Class Lower division in Accounting, Economics, Financial Management, or other related discipline from recognized tertiary institutions;
- Candidate must be a member of a professionally recognized Accounting body, and must possess professional qualifications such as ICAN, ACMA, ACA, CPA, ACCA, and ANAN;
- Candidate must have a minimum of fifteen (15) years cognate experience and Ten (10) years of 5 post-professional qualification experience. In addition, holding the position of Deputy Bursar in a University or Research Institute of comparable standing for a minimum of 9 five (3) years,
- Candidate must not be older than 60 years as of the date 1 of this publication,
- Candidate must enjoy good physical and mental health.
Requirements for University Librarian
- Candidate must possess at least a Second Class Honours Degree and Master Degree in Library and Information Science. Possession of a Doctorate Degree and membership in recognized professional bodies will be added advantage;
- Candidate must have at least fifteen (15) years of qualification academic and professional experience with a minimum of five (5) years at the management level;
- Candidate must not be older than 60 years as of the date of this publication;
- Candidate must enjoy good physical and mental health
- Candidate must possess academic publications relevant p to Library Studies.
