Requirements for Environmental Health / WASH Manager
- Applicant should possess a University Degree in Civil / Environmental Engineering or a related field; relevant experience will supersede the formal qualification.
- Applicant must have a minimum of 3 years of professional technical experience in WASH/Environmental Health, Physical Science, structures, and/or water delivery/production.
- Applicant must have excellent managerial skills and experience in an international multicultural setting, project cycle management, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and Proven technical writing skills.
- Applicant must be competent in Windows, MS Office programs, AutoCAD (or similar computer-aided design), email and database experience;
- Applicant must have good Interpersonal qualities, work well in and promotes teamwork, be comfortable in a multi-cultural environment, be flexible and able to handle pressure in a professional manner
- Applicant must be fluent in spoken and written English, Hausa or any local language skills are a plus.
Requirements for Education Technology and Innovation Officer
- Preferably a Master’s Degree in Education Technology, Bachelor’s Degree in Education, or a related field.
- Applicant must have 4 – 5 years of experience delivering projects and programs ideally in an NGO or social enterprise setting.
- Applicant must have experience working with cross-functional digital teams.
- Applicant must have experience in delivering innovation projects (ideally education technology and innovation ones) end-to-end, on time, on budget, and to a high quality.
- Applicant must have experience in financial management at project and program levels.
- Applicant must have a good understanding of, and experience with, project planning software and a range of cloud-based technologies (esp Asana, Mavenlink, Hubspot & Excel)
- Enjoys collaborative working, flexible structures, and working with a geographically dispersed team.
- Applicant must have the ability to multi-task and move quickly between projects through effective prioritization.
- Applicant must be organized and with excellent attention to detail.
- Applicants must have the ability to apply a diversity and inclusion lens and approach to work.
- Cares about the mission and goals of the IRC.
Requirements for Admin Officer
- University Studies / Higher Education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or any other related course.
- Applicants must have 3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Applicants must have previous NGO experience will be an added advantage.
- Applicants must have strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Applicants must have strong written and oral English communications skills
- Applicants must have excellent computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Applicants must have the ability to present information effectively; experience providing training and staff development is a plus.
- Applicants must have strong skills in collaboration with multicultural and diverse teams
- Commitment to consistently improving and developing innovative solutions in response to HR/organizational Country Program challenges.
