Requirements for Contract & Grant Officer

  • Applicant must have B.Sc / B.A Degree in Accounting, Finance, and Business Administration or its recognized equivalent
  • Applicant must have a Master’s Degree in Finance and Business Administration or its recognized equivalent
  • Applicant must have 3 – 7 years of relevant experience with donor contracts, cooperative agreements, and grant regulations
  • Applicant must have Demonstrated experience and familiarity with grant-making mechanisms and grantee management; experience administering FOGs is highly preferred.
  • Applicant must have Knowledge of and prior experience with US Government rules, requirements, and regulations (such as familiarity with ADS 303) on solicitations and second-tier funding by prime recipients.
  • Applicant must have the ability to effectively work independently and under the guidance of a supervisor.
  • Applicant must have High-level organization and documentation skills, including the ability to track and manage the activities of others (grantees).
  • Applicant must have Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Applicant must have Excellent diplomatic and communication skills, including strong written and oral abilities in English.

Requirements for Grant Manager

  • Applicant must have BSc. in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field and 7 – 9 years of relevant experience.
  • Applicant must have MSc. / MBA with 5 – 7 years of relevant experience in an NGO setting
  • Applicant must have 4 years of experience in a managerial role is required.
  • Applicant must have Prior experience working for an NGO.
  • Applicant must have Experience and good working knowledge of USAID and other US Government organizations’ rules and regulations
  • Applicant must have Demonstrated experience and familiarity with grant-making mechanisms and grantee management; experience administering FOGs is highly preferred.

Requirements for State Technical Lead / State Incident Commander

  • Applicant must have a Degree in Medicine is compulsory. A Master’s in public health or a related field will be an added advantage.
  • Applicant must have Demonstrated experience working with PEPFAR programs and strong familiarity with CDC reporting requirements.
  • Applicant must have 10+ years’ experience in leadership, management, operational and technical expertise with a preference in HIV care and treatment program implementation
  • Applicant must have Strong leadership and coordination experience for multidisciplinary teams and partner organizations
  • Applicant must have Strong program management and technical skills are required.
  • Applicant must have Experienced in HIV care and treatment and prevention programs
  • Applicant must have Familiarity with Nigeria’s health systems and reporting structure and demonstrated ability to collaborate with government-level officials to strengthen program implementation.
  • Applicant must have Excellent writing and communications skills, including demonstrated technical writing skills for publication.
