Requirements for Junior Mechanical Field Specialist – Industrial & Energy Technology (IET)

  • Have a Mechanical Technical Degree or Engineering Degree.
  • Have experience in a mechanical role in an energy or oil and gas environment (or similar)
  • Have limited knowledge of the oil and gas industry.
  • Have a good Mechanical attitude.
  • Have the ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
  • Have excellent verbal and written English, a second language is desirable.
  • Be ready to travel significantly (up to 70%) without geographical restriction (Domestic and international), including offshore facilities
  • Have the ability to work well and communicate with others.
  • Hold a valid passport and valid driver’s license.
  • Eligible for a TWIC card

Requirements for Sub-Saharan Africa Customer Service Manager – Bently Nevada

  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge or experience.
  • Have at least 10 years experience in Field Services in the oil and gas/power industry and with vibration technology (Bently Nevada equipment is a plus)
  • Have at least 5 years experience in Sales or aftersales in oil and gas/power industry
  • Have cognitive experience working across different markets in the region
  • Have willingness and ability to travel within assigned region.
  • Have good business acumen and commercial savvy with the ability to manage effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Have a customer-oriented service mindset.
  • Have good working knowledge of contract terms and conditions as well as familiarity with project labor and material quoting tools.
  • Be well organized with good communication, and interpersonal skills as a leader, with clients, and with Baker Hughes.

Requirements for Project Engineer – Light Well Interventions

  • Be educated to B.Sc level in Engineering
  • Have experience within the subsea industry: preferably Interventions, Intervention systems, BOPs (blow-out preventers), LRPs, WCPs (well control procedures), etc.
  • Be familiar with well-control procedures and standards – from API (American petroleum institute)
  • Have extensive experience and proven track record with CWOR (completion and workover systems) (rig but not in this role but useful none the less) systems, XT products
  • Have previous experience in positions such as project engineering, system engineering or project engineering management at product or system level.
  • Have excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
  • Be able to synthesize information, identify problems, establish facts, and deduce solutions.
  • Be flexible for international travel.
